Dandy is just 1 of the 12 total 'ghouls I got (1 double, for a friend). And she was thr first I saw and had to share with everyone I knew.
First off, I'm a master gardener, so plants are kind of my thing. Secondly, rabbits and their derivatives remind me of a dearly departed aunt, and Dandy, plus the other Wolps, were must haves.
I am glad I got all the wolps. They are immensely pleasing. The colour palettes are deeply complimentary to the rabbit-base of the wolpertinger, as well as the herbal/botanical connections the characters have. A very well thought out design.
The beefy 20" tall and probably half that in girth is so cuddleable. I have been craving a torso-sized plush that is dense enough to squeeze tight and it still have substance to squeeze tighter and not flatten it, unlike a mochi plush or others that are understuffed. The stitching holds up to the squishing and squeezing very well.
There are at least 3 textures of fur goibg on here, and it breaks down as paw pads ans ears, and lighter face parts are the softest parts. The body fur, the short-pile, can be compared to the 90s-00s Disney plush we probably all had at some point. The long-pile fur is the roughest. I have an understanding with long-pile. I know some plush need it for the look, but I'm not a fan of any long-pile. To me, it is always itchy/scratchy, sticks to my skin, gets up my nose, in my eyes, etc. That bring said, Dandy and the other Wolps definitely need the long pile for the "look", and I can tolerate the long pile for the cuddles. Dandy just doesn't have bed cuddle privilege is all.
Y'all should come to the Discord server, and you can see where a 'ghoul fan replaced the long-pile with standard minky, and see just how different the wolps look without the long-pile. They definitely need it!
